Hi, I'm Siphalor

I'm a German web developer and Minecraft modder.

You can see some of my projects here.

My most used technologies.
I am not directly affiliated with any of the shown brands and trademarks.

Languages

  • Java is probably the language I use the most.
While at work, we're mostly building REST backends in Java, in my spare time, I'm developing and maintaining several Minecraft mods. You can see some examples for the latter on my projects site.
  • I'm using quite a bunch of JavaScript/TypeScript at work and in private for various frontend work.
  • Python is my go-to-language for small scripting or command line projects.
  • Over the time, I've also created various smaller projects in Rust.
This includes various projects I did during my university time, including a micro-service-based web application for managing Minecraft mods and a command line client for uploading programs to some small robots via bluetooth.

Frontend technologies

  • Although I'm not the biggest fan of it, Angular is the main framework used at my workplace.
In general, reactive JavaScript frameworks are more to my taste than the mixed bag that you get with Angular.
Because of my workplace experience, I've still collected quite a lot of experience with it over the time.
  • When I'm building a web frontend in private, I tend to use SolidJS as that's a framework I feel more comfortable with.

Interface technologies

  • I'm primarily working with and developing REST APIs, usually using the OpenAPI Specification to clearly define a schema.
  • Alternatively, I'm using GraphQL to be able to separate frontend design from the api.
